President: Jessica Tatlow

Jessica Tatlow is a first year Master’s candidate in Communication this year. She is leading the organization of this year’s Intercom Conference, which will be held in January, and is also working hard at increasing participation and involvement in the CGSA’s academic and social events. Jessica has BA in Religious Studies, with an Honours concentration in Asian Religions, from McGill University, where she was also active in student government. She is excited to be involved in the Communication department and to be starting her research project in organizational communication.

Vice-president of External Affairs: Stephanie Patrick

Stephanie Patrick is in her first year of the Master’s program in Communications. She completed her undergraduate degree in Film Studies at Concordia University in Montreal. After that, she spent several years toiling in various low-skilled jobs in and around the city, but eventually was hired by a local casting company to find actors and extras for local television and film productions. Though fun (and crazy!) while it lasted, she is happy to be pursuing higher studies at the U of O and will do her best to represent the interests and concerns of Communications Graduate Students.
